MSY Account Deletion

This page explains how you can request deletion of your MSY account and the personal data associated with it.

Request account deletion

To request deletion of your MSY account, contact us using one of the following channels:

• Email: apps.msydigital.com@gmail.com

• Responsible organization: MSY DIGITAL

When sending an email, use this subject line:

MSY account deletion request

Please include:

• the email address registered in the MSY App;
• your username or display name, if available;
• a short statement confirming that you want your MSY account deleted.

Example:

I request deletion of my MSY account and the personal data associated with it. Account email: user@example.com

Verification process

For security reasons, we may ask you to verify that you are the owner of the account. This helps prevent other people from deleting your account without permission.

After receiving your request, we will review it and usually delete your account within 30 days, or contact you if additional verification is needed.

Data that will be deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data may be deleted or anonymized:

• profile data;
• email, username, and display name;
• language and country preferences;
• activities, plans, checklists, and progress records;
• goals and achievements;
• feedback records;
• personal in-app settings;
• analytics, coins, and progress data.

Data that may be retained temporarily

Some data may be retained for a limited period where required for legal, financial, security, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. This may include:

• payment and invoice records;
• records needed to prevent fraud or investigate security issues;
• accounting or reporting information required by law.

Such data will only be retained for as long as necessary and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

Data stored on your device

After your account is deleted from our servers, some local cache or settings may remain on your device. To remove local data:

1. Log out of the MSY App.
2. Clear the MSY App's storage/cache in your device settings or uninstall and reinstall the App.
